Other CNC Milling Stations…
Along with manual vertical and horizontal milling stations, UM also has 5 other CNC stations all
equipped with 4th axis capabilities and tailstocks.
- Mazak VQC 20/40 B not only has a 15" programmable indexer, but can be equipped with a reinishaw probe which is used for automatically centering castings that are not consistent.
- Haas VF-2B milling station is equipped with its own Haas 8" indexer and conventional quick codes along with programmable coolant nozzle.
- Bridgeport Torq 22 also equipped with its own 8" indexer and specially adapted high pressure coolant setup ideal for tough jobs with hundreds of deep holes.
- 2 Bridgeport CNC Series I Milling Machine each equipped one with a Tsukakoma 15" programmable index and the other with a Nikken 6" self programming index.

We optimize all our CNC machines with 4th axis capabilities. Here you see two
Bridgeport boss 6S and a new Bridgeport Torq 22 equipped with detachable high pressure
flushing system for coolant.
Wire EDM...
Our newest addition to our CNC family is our Wire Cut EDM model JW-35A.
This precision wire cutting center is equipped with automatic wire threading
for submerged and non-submerged machining. With high rigidity of the main body,
we have 4th axis simultaneous control along with cutting rate of 23.3 Sq. inch/hr.
Electrolytic corrosion free machining enables easy work with nonferrous metals.
We have a work envelop of 13.8" x 9.8" x 8.7" in the Z axis
and a taper reach of 15 degrees maximum.
