The history of Universal Metalcraft Inc. is one of continuous and successful evolution. Founded in 1972 as M.W.Design as a part time operation, President Viktor Wenstrom designed machines and specialized equipment for a variety of companies. Within a couple of years he incorporated to Universal Metalcraft Inc. with a purchase of a machine shop and a workforce of 6. Once the Chief engineer of Thermo Electric Inc. and with the joining of his son, Eric, a NJIT Graduate, UM has transformed a small shop into one of the leading manufacturers. UM is a full-fledged manufacturing facility with the continuous adoption of the latest technological advances available to the industry. UM has experienced steady growth, and has been consistently dedicated to advancing reliable methods of manufacturing.
